removing handbreak lever cover

on a mk2 clio, how do u remove this other than gettin out the chainsaw?

I had the same trouble, aparently there is a little catch at the end of the plastic underneath and you have to get a small screwdriver in there and it should come off? I was told this after i took my handle back to halfords as so i aint actually done this. hope this is some help.
