Removing old seats

Car  Clio
I've been taking my seats out so I can fit some bucket seats (not decided which ones yet).

How much of the old frame do I take out? Do I leave the bottom bit with the slider (pic 1) or take it all out completely (pic 2, lhs)?

Its a Clio mk1 btw

depends on the seat and how you want to mount it..

if you want it fixed in one position and if the seat is sidemounted you can just mount it straight to the chassis

but if it is base mounted you need to buy a subframe which bolt straight to the floor so you need to take it all out

surely with sum fixed mounted i.e side mount seats, you need custom mounts made?? not just mount to the floor? cause me bro has just fitted sum side mounted corbeau revolutions in his KA n he has had to get sum custom mounts for the side mounts to sit on!!

To update, I've just bought a pair of Cobra Monaco S. I don't need the seats to tilt / move in any way as the rear is stripped. Cobra want £130 for a pair of all singing and dancing subframes. Is there a cheaper way of doing this?
