Removing radio

  RenaultSport clio 172 mk2
Sorry im sure this has been asked loads of times before but how do you get the sterio out?
i see it has 4 pin holes, will renualt do this for free or can you make something up yourself to pull it out?
Also what is the bracket like inside, will a new one have to be fitted which comes with the new aftermarket sterio or is the original one ok?

thanks

Four thin nails, four bits of wire, cut up a metal coat hanger, buy the pins from halfords, etc etc...

Takes about 5 seconds and yes Renault would probably want £20 to do it.

As said above , bent metal coathangers , push them into the 4 holes then pull the head unit out .

buy the correct removal keys they have ridges in them to interlock you then push them outwards and it will come straight out 5 secs and 3quid later;)

You've got to be a complete and utter eejit to try and screwdriver them out in the first place unless you're very gentle and use 4 thin ones.
