Removing rear brake caliper - easy?

I can see one of the rubber guide sleeves on the back brake caliper is no longer covering the pin. I tried everything to get the b*gger back on but it won't stay seated in the groove. Is it easy enough to take off and fiddle it onto its seat, anyone?

It not to bad but I'd just stick some ducktape over it instead.
