removing rear diamond badge

on a mk2ph2, i want to remove the badges from the back, i know the "clio" badge has two pins, but how does one take the diamond emblem off the boot lock?!

You don't.

It's moulded into the boot, some suckers tried to get mine off, leaving some nice screwdriver scratches.

I imagine you'd need some body work done (i.e. cutting it out and putting another button there) to actually do it.

yep, there is a way. i have had mine off. replaced the awfull gold one for a crrome one. its pretty tricky and you need to be carefull. open your boot, take the plastic casing off thats inside your boot. you can reach some screws, they will take off the boot release late that has the badge attatched. once you have that off gently tap the badge out with a hammer. when re-fitting you might need a drop of superglue to ensure it fixed 100% shouldnt need it tho if your carefull.
hope that made sense
