Removing rear seats?

Is it hard to remove the rear seats? Not actually removing the seats but once you've removed them.. is it a case of a sheet of wood and some carpet? Can someone whos done it let me know whats involved please so I can work out whether its worth doing!

Quite easy to remove the rear seats, just a few bolts.

I really like Middo's rear :rasp:

i havent done this yet was planning to do it soon though, the hard part for me is how to make it look good.

carpet
wood

or whether it is worth the hassel ??

( that is a tidy bit of work above)

Yeah taking the seats out is the easy bit.. tidying up whats underneath is the problem!

Gotta find the right carpet to match the rest though..
I think its best to get all the bits and bobs you need before taking anything out (;

Yeah but I was thinking of taking the rear seats out and doing a 'back of car' build! I seen a clio van with a boot build somewhere on this site I think, looked awesome!

Taken mine out to save weight for track. Having said that most of them is out but the last bolt that holds them in is a right b*****d! Its the 40hex one!
