Removing rear wiper arm

  Polo Bluemotion
yeh, but your best of with some sort of gear puller that pushes off the spindle while pulling behind the wiper (if that makes sense).

I had to bladder mine in WD40 for an hour or so, and when i eventually did manage to get it off, it went with a bang!

iif it works, but if its stuck on and you pull hard enough you do what I ended up doing.....smacking yourself really hard in the face when it does come off and i mean REALLY REALLY HARD! like bust your face up style....so the more civilised aproach is to use a 2 or 3 arm puller basically it hooks around the back of the wiper and you screw a screw down to pop it off

the 3rd alternative is 2 be very careful with a hammer/mallet and tap it up and down to loosen it, what happens is some sort of corrosion/dirt gets lodged in there and its really hard to break the bond hitting it loosens it and allows the wiper to come free.

I wouldnt recommend this way tbh. The gear puller option is your best bet. Hitting it with a mallet so close to the rear window aint the best of ideas. It could start to get expensive
