removing seat release handle

hi

does anyone know how you get the seat release hanndle free of the seat?

I have removed the 2 torx scews but it still stuck fast.

THe handle snapped when tryig to move tilt and slide the seat forward, so need to replace it. Read a few posts about the cable snapping, is there anything i can adjust to avoid the handle snapping again, it has never worked very well compared to the other side

is it definately a part you can buy seperately?

i would presume that the handle mechanism would be? Otherwise it would mean buying a whole new seat/ seat back?

Was hoping someone would have had it apart at some point. The two hex must be there to hold it on but even when there removed it wont budge

had the same problem in my old clio, ended up giving up.
