Removing side moulding on MK3 3dr

Im trying to get the back part of the side mouldings off my MK3 2002 clio extreme. Its a 3 door and I just cant seem to remove it. Ive read the renault instruction .PDF document someone sent me but that was for a 5 door.

Any help would be great.

if you look under the moulding this a notch cut-out near the back

slip a narrow screwdriver in there(watch your paint) and then try to slide forward

what else do you need to know cos i had difficulty getting mine off?

I have given them a pull at the front (near the drivers door) and I can see the clip. I cant get a screwdriver down. Im really bothered about denting/scratching.

Is it any good trying to do it from inside??

i found that if wrap some tape around the driver first so as not to damage the body work

i dont think you can actually get to the clip from the in side but someone might know???
