removing steering wheel badge?

any ideas on how to remove the steering wheel badge to paint ?

You'll have to take out the air bag to take the badge off.

as above all thou you can get it out without taking the bag off but to be on the safe side,as you might end up snapping the pins or worse snapping the whole badge

why do u have to take the air bag off? not as if u can get in behind it can you?

i just used a screwdriver with a cloth wraped round it never had a problem with clips snapping

I've tried, and it won't budge on mine.

I did this only last week. You are going about it the right way. Use your screwdriver to gradually prise it off from the underside. Just keep pushing the screwdriver further up behind the badge on each side and and it will come off. There are 2 clips holding it in and if you are careful they will not snap.

where are the clips positioned on the badge?
