Removing sticky residue

I stuck some velcro on my dash board and recently removed it.

However the sticky residue etc is still there, whats the easiest and best way to remove this?

Tar and glue remover.

Don't use white spirit though, it will take the colour out of your dash.

ya can get stuff specifically designed for this too... it has a very original name "label remover" we use it at work and it works a treat, i'm not sure where ya'll get it from though

Maplins sell it. Although most folk have wd40 in therir house so he's best off with that.
