Removing sun visor clips

I've ripped my headlining out and destroyed a grab handle in the process as expected. I've unscrewed the screws holding the sun visor small clip in (the hook that keeps the actual visor in place) and it's not moving at all. Is there a way to get it out and be able to reuse it? Or does it need destroying? I just want the bugger out for now!

I also need to know how to remove the interior light (full unit not just the light itself) as these are the only thing stopping me getting the roof lining off.

I'm not sure if it's the same as the Megane's, but when I removed rob's sun visors I rotated them 90' and they pulled out.

They are pretty much solid in place... won't rotate or pull out at all even though the screw is out. I know it's possible but I wouldn't mind reusing them!

Ace thanks Thomas. The only thing is the Trophy has the single interior light so is slightly different and I can't see any screws or clips to undo it from the roof :(

Read the first sentence :p

I can't see where the clips are though. It seems solid in place... I'll have another look tomorrow.

Can you put this in the guides section if you don't mind mate? May help someone else out too!

Step 1 - Remove the light itself

Step 2 - This will leave you with this

Step 3 - Push a flat blade screwdriver into the clip holes, you will need to do this on each end of the light surround. You need to slightly pull the light at the same time.

Step 4 - It should now look like this

Step 5 - Pull down at 90 degrees away from the windscreen

Step 6 - Success! The surround is now removed. You will then need to get the metal clips out of the roof so you can refit the surround at a later point

Step 7 - Once you have removed the clips, simply attach them back on to the light surround, you may need to gently expand them
