Removing the radio..

  Focus ST
I need to remove my radio, there is something rattling behind it.

What tools (apart from one spanner = me) do i need?? And how??

get an old coat-hanger, the metal ones

cut it in half and bend each half round

insert the four bits of coat hanger into the four small holes

leaving them in, pull the whole thing :)

Spanner ? Is it a valve radio or something ??

All you need is these (or the coat hanger bent as suggested)

You can also use the screwdriver type things that create guide holes for screws...put it in one hole at a time, and move the unit slightly...it does work, as one of the lads from renault did it for me when I had a liquid air freshener leak into the bit of dash around the radio!

Coat hangers worked for me, but I recommend sticking masking tape over the holes then piercing it.

My friend didn't do this and the front of his is scratched.
