Renault 19 Seats

Hi how easy is it to fit set of leather seats (front and back) from Renault 19 saloon into a 1.2 mk1 ph3 clio?

My mate did this to his RSi the other week and it only took a couple of hours!

Do you know how much modification it took? And where it needed to be done - I dont really want to hack my car to pieces!!

Took longer than needed becuase we didnt have thr correct tools. Didnt modify the seats though, bought them alrready modified.

i think that theres a guide on here some where, i do know that the rears need modifying tho, but the fronts just fit straight in.

When you say the rears need modifying, how do you mean? do you have to cut chunks out of the seats, or out of the plastic trim on the car? Is it easy to do?

theres a guide on the main cliosport site.

The rears you have to cut away some foam if u put them on the existing backing plate.

around £250 - £300 mark usually on eBay, thats for the rear bench and the two front seats.
