You can't use leads and a standard laptop on its own just to use the actual Renault CLIP, you need a few extra bits which are serious cash unless you run a garage etc
Just get one of the £25 diagnostic tools off eBay (good value) or if you have an actual laptop, this sort of thing is a few steps up from a handheld, can do a bit of live data along with circuit testing etc
