Renault friends and family

If I was to purchase a new Renault using a friends and family discount would this be a discount on top of anything I had already arranged with the dealer or would it be a set amount off the RRP of the car?

Does anyone know roughly how much this would be off a 182 with Cup pack?

21% I belive family discount is and thats off the list price so if the list for the 182 you want is £16k then youd pay £12.8 which is similar to deals you can get if you shop around.

The discount is off the list price of the car (& any options), but you take the price without VAT, remove the % discount, add the VAT back on and thats what you pay...

Not sure on the current rate, it was 18% when I got my Cup, but its been at 22%, so you need to check!

I think it is 22% on Clios at the mo and like Rich says its off the price without vat.

He said 20% when I spoke to him on Friday night K. But I have to admit, I was very drunk at the time.

Its a lad I went to school with. I knew he worked in the body shop at Renault Wolverhampton as Id spoken to him when he got his 172 last year. He mentioned last night that if I fancied a 182 put him down as a friend. I made sure he stuck his number in my phone so if I do go for a new Renault I can contact him.

friends and family scheme gives you 18% discount off the rrp.when i bought mine the discount was 22% but that ended on the 20th december 2002.the discount might have changed now i would have to check with sales.

THE discount is 18% off clios, you do get it off options like met. paint and you can only get it if you are a family member.

Well your lucky because according to renaults list of eligible people you have to be a family member and show how you are related to the renault employee.

Its actually called a Friends & Family scheme

I got mine through a friend, it was 22% at the time (Sept 2003). I do believe this can change though and ranges between 18% and 22% for the Clio except the V6 which is 15%.
