renault insurance

anyone with a new renault and renault insurance if u have put 17s on have u told the insurance and what have they charged u extra? mine is a 1.2 dynamique.

come on people giv me sum idea of what i will have to pay wen i declare mine to my insurance.

I phoned and told i am lowering nd putting aftermarket wheels on, after some agrow and neogiation(spelling) they were gonig to charge about £34 for an ammendment to the policy and no change to excess or policy!

I have done the mods BUT not told em yet!!!

wouldnt let me lower it FULL STOP..........! so i went mad n done it all at once come renewal lol!! Thanks to HIC insurance. Rob

i am 20 and no i did not tell them the pirce before, i think i am going to photo copy the reicept and send it to them, declaring the wheels, so i will let you know how i get on

phoned them b4 and they said they wont insure them cos they are 2" bigger than the standard ones. Arnold clark insurance t**sers
