Hiya,

Who does everyone use for garage work? I only ask as I'm looking to get a remap, and my cam belt is due next year.

When I lived in London I used to use JMS/Two Techs, then I moved to Essex/Suffolk and I began to use Dan at 519. Obviously he has now gone AWOL and a lot of stuff has been said about him. I know there is Mark Fish in Harlow, however his prices do seem pretty high. I'm currently in contact with Breckland Vehicle Specialists in Suffolk and their prices seem competitive. Anyone had any dealings with these guys?

As an aside, anyone got any recommendations for wheel refurbs in the Suffolk area?

We're in Nottingham but that's gonna be a bit further than you'd like to trek i'm guessing. Here if not though. I believe BeanieSport in MK are likely to be your best bet

Hi Mick. I wouldn't mind travelling to Nottingham, but it's getting back home which is a problem as I'd presumably need to leave the car with you?

I'm specifically looking at getting the RS2 system on sale currently, so that plus a remap I'm guessing wouldn't be a day-trip kind of thing.

We don't "do" mapping as we're not that kind of specialist but we'd steer you towards RS Tuning for that. Belts and installation of the RS2 though can be done in a day.

Engine Dynamics in kelvedon is your best bet.

As Danny said. Engine Dynamics. Remaps (with Dyno), belts and I can't see RS2 fitting being an issue.

Yeah I did send him a message a while back, he replied and I took forever to get back to him admittedly but I've not heard anything since.

Oh right, I'm just outside Huntingdon. Just bought a FF 182 about 3 weeks ago and was looking at things that would be good to replace. Haven't bought any of it yet as the steering rack has a leak so that's getting replaced on Saturday :/

Cit-Ren in Brooke, Norfolk do cambelt servicing. My Cup went in to have its cambelt, dephaser, waterpump and oil changed and has run faultessly since. Several other members on here have had positive experiences also.
