Renault Turbines

The ones from the 1.8 Mk1, what width are they? 6.5 or 6?

Also, would they cause issues with brakes overheating as track wheels with the marge surface area preventing airflow?

Yeah I had thought about fitting the 'fog light brake cooling' mod. :). They are planned as track wheels. Just want to know what width they are (and therefore weather I will need spacers)

Cool. Thanks.

So at 6.5" they are 0.5" narrower than my 172 wheels, or 13mm. Thats 6.5mm either side of the wheel. With an ET of 36 they will sit 12mm further out than my ET48.5 172 wheels. when you factor in the 6.5mm smaller rim width the net result is the outside edge will be 5.5mm further out than my current wheels :).

Sorted. Was worried they would be the same ET but narrower, meaning I would need to fit spacers to stop them looking lost in the arches.

Thanks guys!

i make it 6.15mm futher out ;)

and as has been said, the fins on the turbines will help air channel to the brakes if anything!
