Renault want £95 for front brake pads

I currently own a new Clio Dynamique S, I need new brakes, so went to Renault and they said £95 for front brake pads, Would be extra if need new discs.

Is this expensive

er, I'm not 100% knowledgable on these things, but I would say YES! lol

Reckon a trip to GSF might be an idea, then fit them yourself (if you're feeling brave) or find a friendly mechanic who'll do it cash in hand

But, thinking about it, if it's a new car and under warranty, can't you get the pads elsewhere and take them with you to the garage, so then the labour will be free?

That will be fitted its about 50 minutes work at say £60 an hour and the parts are about £25 from Renault can get them cheaper you shopuld be using the 172 pads so there easy and cheap from Halfords etc.

Try fitting them yourself, they really arent that hard

if you lived near me I'd fit them for £20 as long as you bring the pads.
