Apparantly I need to be 30 before I can drive my 182..

You know what the really funny thing is, RenaultSport Insurance is underwritten by Equity Red Star. They are also the underwriters for my 172 policy with Adrian Flux at 21! Go figure?

When I got my car from the dealer they gave me a card to claim 7 days FREE insurance.

So I gave them a call, took my details, and then said sorry I have to be 30.

I was like "what the f**k?". How come you have to be 30 when Tesco insures me no problem. I'm 22 and didn't even need a specialist insurer.

Yeah I had the same, meant to get 14 days free insurance when I did a hpi test on my 182 when I bought it, then who ever it was said I needed to be 30 or something.

I had EXACTLY the same conversation with them when i got my 182. I really needed that free week too because i needed both cars insured and taxed for Renault to do my Cherished plate transfer!

30 to drive a small, slow hatchback? they must be on crack! :nono:
