Rentech Portsmouth

I've got my car booked in for next Tuesday at Rentech for the Belts and Service.

I live in London so it's a bit of a mission, so I told the missus we'll make a day of it and go down to the coast (we've both got a day off work so I had to sell it to her some how).

I just wanted to know how far the garage is from the coast and how easy it is to get there.

Its about a 5 minute walk from the train station, jump on the train and it will take you down to Gunwharf Quays which is right next to the sea but not any beaches iirc

Is there anything to do down there? I'm dropping my car off for about 9.00am and was told it would'nt be done until about 5pm.

get a bus down to southsea and go into pirate pete's. looks like a police building colour wise.

oh and then go to the ice creme shop near the place they sell rubberboats and get a strawberry/vanilla twist MR.WHIPPY. then take a 15min drive east and drop me one off please.

I went to Uni down there

Use Aquacabs to get you from Rentech to any part of Portsmouth their cheap as chips.

A good day out could be shopping in Gunwharf Quays , good selection of restaurants etc. then if its a clear day you may fancy going up the Spinnaker. Or stroll up and down the coast line.

I did the exact same thing the other week!!

im sure they will drop you of at the train station they did with me and the misses, then we got a train into portsmouth harbour and spent the day there will take about 5-6 hoursq

Knowing the guys down there Dave will drop you at the station, so its all very easy.
