Rep or not to rep

My car needs new bumpers all around etc, now i have the chance to buy a front bumper, wings and grill off a sport in the same colour as my car... and il also have the alloys to go with.


Now im not sure wether or not to both making a rep... sure it looks good but is it worth it...

Its a ph1 btw

From my experience with my car.

Buy a car for 35 quid, put petrol in it and that's it. Just leave it completely. I hate mine 99.9% of the time.

nothings ever worth it when modding cars
this will probably turn into a 6 page thread on why it is or isnt worth it.

i say if you think it will make you happy do it and dont listen to others lol

I'm contemplating splitting mine and just going for a standard car, saving for an RS and putting the money on mods which will be abit more benefitial to potential tbh.

if you have modding in your system you will mod any car, i bought the dci to have a nice standard car to cruise about in while having a modified car, ive spent more on that than ive spent on my 172 so far lol

I'd go for it depending on the price of the bumper / wings.

Especialy as they are the same colour, only thing holding me back is the cost of a front end respray!

well the bumper etc is only going to cost £180, and theres no spraying needed as they are the same colour as the car so wont be to expencive, plus the cars going to my sister so i want to make it nice for her :rasp:

yeah that can get a bit annoying lol, i prefer the subtle look of my dynamique and the look on peoples face when they say "whats in that?!?!" lol

If I had the choice I'd just have a lowered standard car colour coded with tidy paint and wheels. No need for these big fake bumpers and side skirts.

I'd rather buy a Yozza sport exhaust for a 172 than make a slow car look sporty and fast with RS bumpers.

i like the look of the ph1 bumper because its subtile and doesnt stand out compared to the ph2 ones...
