Replacement HT Leads

  Clio 172
Hi,

It's time to replace the HT leads on my Ph2 172 - where is the best place to buy some from?

The car is completely standard and I only use it on the road, so I don't need anything too extreme - however I would like some good quality items.

I've done a few searches on this forum but didn't find too much specific info on websites or products. I'd rather not buy some from Renault as I assume they'd be more expensive than aftermarket replacements?

Thanks in advance for your help

Rich

Motorsportworld usually have the magnecor ones for a fair price. They do a blue version 8mm and red version 8.5mm. Either will be fine.

How long are HT leads meant to last/need replacing on 1*2's?

Just wondering as mine is 7 years four months now and still on it's originals.

I was thinking of getting some fresh spark plugs and possibly Magnecor leads...

Any advantage over OEM? other than the pretty colour...?

My leads are 8 and a half years old, and have done 85,000 miles, but seem fine (the engine runs reasonable smoothly anyway).

I'm not sure of the service interval but figured they must be overdue :)
