Replacement Keycards - 197

Anyone had to get a replacement keycard for the 197?

Like an idiot, i left my wallet in the back of a taxi last night, and i keep my car keycard in it (it was convenient!) but i also had my driving licence in there, so now the founder of my wallet will have my address and my keycard! Stupid i know.

Im hoping someone will be honest enough to hand my wallet in, but im not hopeful.

Id like to get my spare card reprogrammed and get a new card, so that if anyone does try and use the lost keycard, they wont be able too.

Anyone know how much is this likely to cost me?

Yeah, i was up early and made a few phone calls etc, been to the police station to see if anyone handed it in, but nothing yet.

Cheers Lewis, i also had £100 in my wallet, so it was an expensive night

If you have id in wallet with address i'd be removing several wires at night if i were you

gutting mate, keep your car blocked in! if you do get a new key though whoever has the old one can still get in because of the emergnacy blade!

Take it out before you go out? I always take as many cards out of my wallet as possible when going on the piss.

I always keep my keys in my pocket, dunno why, just habit i suppose. Sounds unlucky though dude! Hopefully some genuine person will hand the wallet in

Steve - Yes, my driving licence was in my wallet aswell! Good if someone is honest enough to hand it in. Bad if someone wants my car!

Inodaz - Yes, it will be blocked in whilst im at home. Might stick it in the garage actually.

Paul - Yes it was a good night until i got in and realised lol

Crazy Clio / Fletcher - Yes, my keycard is always left in my wallet, it just sits in there as it never ever needs to come out. It was just for convenience, more than anything, but now its the biggest inconvenience ever.

iimushroomzii - im hoping someone will hand it in, but who knows, it may still be under the taxi drivers seat, and he may not find it until he next cleans his car!

Contacted them, they reckon that because they 200ish taxi drivers working that night they couldnt trace it, we didnt book it, we just took the next available taxi, as you do after a night out :dapprove:

How about bank / credit card insurance...
