Have anyone replaced the steering wheel on a 172? Mine has been turning to powder during this hot weather and looks and feels pretty rough. I saw a nice Momo one at Halfrauds but they don't offer a fitting service. Is it hassle to do because of the Airbag? any advice would be appreciated.

dont think its too bad, i have one to go on mine, think its just dissconnect the battery for half an hour, then remove airbag/steering wheel, replace with a boss that has the resistor for the airbag (stops the light comming on), fix wheel, job done.
one warning though, i've been waiting since may 20th for my boss from demon tweeks, its now not due till aug the 8th!!!!
