I had a tear on my drivers seat, so replaced it today with a like for like 182 seat in much better condition. All the connectors fitted perfectly, however the airbag and service light have shown up on the dashboard.
I had a couple of questions:
1. Should I expect the dash lights on given that I replaced like for like and plugged in all the connectors?
2. I know people snip wires and/or fit resistors to turn the dash lights off, but does that deactivate some of the safety features in the seat?
