DVD Recorder has been broken for a while so I need to replace it for something new.
I had a Samsung one with 250gb hard drive. I used to be able to record to the hard drive or straight to disc.
2 things:
1. I have loads of stuff saved to the hard drive on there. The only way you could take things off the hard drive was to put them on disc but the disc drive has stopped working so I can't do that. Is there a way I could remove the hard drive and copy files to the pc or something?
2. I'm just wondering are there any boxes that will record things from my tv/sky box onto it's own hard drive as files which you can transfer to a memory stick and watch elsewhere? It does not need to have a dvd player in it.
