Replacing Fuel filter?Easy Job

I have a massively pants fuel economy at the mo and the filter hasnt been changed for like 2yrs?!

is it an easy job mk1 1.4??

Yeah easy, undo the plastic clamp, then unscrew or press the clamps holding the fuel lines to the filter, depending which you have on there.

Either clamp the lines or let it drain into a clean container.

15 min job overall

if i dont clamp the lines will the petrol keep coming until the fuel tank drains?and how do ya clamp the line?i presume hose clamp pliers?
