Removed the old ones today and the arb really got in the way, is it posssible to swing it down out of the way without the hassle of messing with the inner bushes.

I'm replacing the whole wishbone.

Cheers.

It is easier with both wheels off the ground other wise your fighting against the arb.

Both wheels off ground.
If you can, put a scissor jack between ARB and car and that will push the ARB down. Or use a pole to lever it down and get someone to hold it whilst you fit wishbones.

I did this just yesterday. I don't understand how the arb could be in the way unless you've got the weight if the car on one wheel so you're 'loading' the arb?

As said above put the car on axle stands so that both front wheels are off the ground.

Got it sorted in the end, looks like who ever had the car before had cut and re welded the arb for some reason.
Replaced it with the one off my old 182. Good job I forgot to scrap it last weekend.
