Just coming back from the shops and ive seen two valvers! never see any round here!

Anyway both were wearing shiny un-standard(!) alloys... On the way home I felt quite pathetic on mine (and you know how I love standard rims..)

Basically can anyone recommend some nice alloys for the valver? any suggestions and/or pics welcomed... No 3 spokes!

Oh and the biggy - they must be 15" and still look good!

Ive got some Mille Miglia EVO Type 5s on at the mo (thats what it came with) and they dont look half bad in 15" guise. Ill post some piccies on Mon.

Theyre a bit scuffed though.

TSW Venoms sprayed gold, but seriously if you are getting 15s you need something where the spoke goes all the way to the edge of the rim otherwise they look too small. I like Khan RSR, bit common though, OZ Superlegga or how about some white rally sl*g wheels not sure how theyd look on a Naples Red 16v though.

16"s with 195/45s will be ok, near enough standard wheel/tyre diameter......

Thats a thought I suppsoe - know what peeps mean about the wheels looking too small if theyre badly chosen and i was thinking rally sl*g but doubt it would look much kop on a Naples valver!

I loved my ph2 alloys, but my 16" momos are much better. Look a lot bigger, dont see the need for 17"s cos they look plenty big enough.

Didnt notice any difference is acceleration after I put them on, only a slighty harder ride due to the smaller tyre profile.....

Stay standard. If you have to, Id go for some Speedline Williams copies (in silver?) or some Compomotive TH2 wheels, like the ones that were standard on the Delta Integrale Evo.

thinking about willy wheels in silver but i prefer the look of standard ph2s on a valver - not keen on the f1s have to be on the right car...

just been to asda, looked at my car on the way back and thought bugger my they look good again!

they look really good in the rain - polished kind of but not too much if you know what I mean!

Hmmm Can i get the permament rain look?!

IIRC 195/45/16s are slighly smaller than standard valvers !! when i had my 172 alloys on they looked hooooge compared to the 15s but i dont know why as it was only an extra inch !! The decision is purely yours !! If i was you id get some anthracite turbines !! Thats what im planning !! Aswell as anthracite turinis !!

Some people say they do but cant notice any difference to be honest! And they look the nuts! Ill get some good pics one day!
