Retrieving the Code for my 172 Cup

My suspension failed some weeks ago and the car went in for some work. Bodywork required as well as the wheel went straight through the wheel arch so it was a while until I got it back.

When I got the car back the radio has been reset but I never received a code. Checked through all my books and there's nothing in there.

Any ideas?

have u tried the usuals like 4 zero's etc ?

Nope. Wanted to seek advice first in case I locked it completely.

i was looking at mine earlier today and the only code i could see to enter was in the handbook and it said 4 zero's :S

Are you sure thats not just what it tells you is on the display?

thats why i was looking earlier but wasnt very clear.

Its a ballache mate, but usually its found on a sticker on the inside cover of one of the manuals - the bottom four digits.

However with mine the sodding thing doesn't work (the code that is) despite me confirming it is the correct code for that radio via the barcode on the left. So Renault state i have to send it away to some company called AEL to fault find and fix the code situation.

Simply put its a ridiculous situation, if you find out anything regarding the issue then LMK.

If you call a Renault dealer, and give them the VIN number of your car they can give you the code.
