Retrimmed steering wheel

After many many months of having a 2nd hand wheel with someone to be retrimmed the chap finally got round to doing it recently

For what he charged I'm very pleased with it, even recovered the plasticy/rubbery bit at the bottom centre. Stitching looks really cool as well.

If people were interested I reckon he'd be up for doing some more as well, although he does them in his spare time. He works for a retrimming company as his day job, think they do restoration on old Bentleys and things.

Half of what that company were charging who came on here a while ago, not that I'm knocking their work as it's obv their business!!

Was (well will be, not paif yet!) £75

Not sure how much of an arse it was for him to do though but if he wants to do more I'd expect them to be around that price for the labour and materials.

Stuck the spare airbag I've got on it last night to see how it all looked and does look very cool.

Well when I get the cash for this one over to him I'll ask him if he wants to do any more.

Be warned, this one took months from me handing it over as the chap is quite busy with a new house he's moved into, although I don't really know him only his brother who I worked with.

But I will ask, might be a little more than he charged me (as he agreed price upfront) plus there's the ballache of arranging postage etc.
