was having a "spirited" drive today and noticed my limiter kicks in at 6800???

wondering if this is right as the redline isnt till after 7

i had been driving at motorway speeds for ablout 20 mins...........

Could have a sensor down/faulty so the car thinks its cold, hence lower limit.
