Reverse Lights Not working

Ive noticed neither of my reverse lights are working! makes parellel parking in traffic interesting

I've checked all the fuses and the bulbs and they're fine.
I've also been told that it might be the connection in the gearbox? is this an easy/cheap thing to sort?

what else could it be?

Possibly just the connection an the reverse light sensor. Very easy to get to (near 5th speed cover, 1 wire). I think you can actually get to it with the wheels on.

do i have to get under the car to do it?

Yes in the gearbox, easiest way will be to jack the n/s front up and take your wheel off. You can't miss it then.

Will have to steel a jack off my brother (mines missing ) and give it a go
