rheostat ???

rheostat is there one of these in the dial illumination and side lights circuit
cheers could this make the lights short out

Thought they only put rheostats in the heaters?

hell knows i just saw some guy chattin about it kinda stabbing in the dark for possible solution as to why my dash lights are not working and the fuse keeps popping everytime i change it. checked the rear cluster and all that crap so im getting desperate it shorting somewhere but where is the question ...

Gutting. Tried taking all the bulbs outta the lights? if it dont short then obviously its a bulb at fault

i tried removing the whole cluste and that didnt work so it cant be bulbs
