either be the throttle pendometer(electric motor) or the throttle pedal, check in the footwell there is a thin electrical connector , connected to the top of the pedal if this is connected then you may have to have it pluged in to see what is causing it

essssssssssssexxxx..! But i'm scottish by blood so the Essex doesnt explain the thickness.. im good with my car, just not clio engines!

As Al said, if the ECU has changed its mode, why dont you get one of those chip thingys you plug into the ECU and can modify it? Then you can make it a teeny bit faster too! lol

might just do that, am going for a 172 conversion but and going to try and make the quickest 1.2 track car to date with this, then if this engine blows up i can get the 172 engine quicker lol

Sounds like something computer related...

Like when you go into reverse it seems to numb the throttle. Get it into Renault, not much else you can do.

Not much you can do, if you want it fixed, get it fixed.

(P.S. It's meant to do that in reverse, only thing it achieves is making donuts take a second longer to get going..)

So if you press the pedal nothing happens? Right? What age is your Clio - mk2 ph1? mk2 ph2? etc.
