16v_jon said:either be the throttle pendometer(electric motor) or the throttle pedal, check in the footwell there is a thin electrical connector , connected to the top of the pedal if this is connected then you may have to have it pluged in to see what is causing it

As Al said, if the ECU has changed its mode, why dont you get one of those chip thingys you plug into the ECU and can modify it? Then you can make it a teeny bit faster too! lol
