Rim Wax??

Hello,

I came across this product in the back of a mag and was wondering if anyone has used it and what they think?? I am used to using all the range of Autoglym, so was really hoping to be on par with that stuff??

bought some from autopia but had a bump the other day so not washed the car since or got to use it

I used it a while back but there are better products on the market instead of this.

i had a tub of this and found it to be good.
first clean down the wheels completely, apply a polish if you want then apply a couple of coats of this and you wheels will shine like never before.
and the best of all when i comes to washing the wheels next time you wash the car the brake dust comes of so easy.
durabilty is also very good.
i got mine from Carwashandwax.com or co.uk but they have changed to chemicals guys wheel guard which i found to be better than rim wax.

If thats the stuff Car Wash N Wax used to sell then apparently its not all that and a bag of Revels. The Wheel Guard they now stock is good for an all in one product, e.g. cleans, polishes and seals. But as it cleans it means it cannot be layered for added protection.

Poorboys Wheel Sealant is meant to be good but not used it myself. I currently have AG SRP, AG EGP, Chemical Guys Jet Seal and Collinites 476 on mine and works extremely well - you could ditch either the EGP or JS, or the 476 and should still work very well.

The Rim Wax works great as a one step product, cleans, polishs and seals, but means you can't build up layers of it. I tend to use on other peoples cars or as a quick fix for the insides of my wheels.

I was worried at the title!!

How good is the Rim wax at cleaning, as I find cleaning my wheels the biggest chore, in fact I absolutely hate it with a passion.
