does any one know were i can find an instruaction manual for this in-dash dvd player?

also does anyone know how to make it play dvd's while i drive?

connect the handbrake cable to the black earth cable,or just earth it on a bolt behind the dash

the one coming outta the radio labelled handbrake cable,not the actual handbrake cable,just scotch lock it to the earth

Just earth the wire, at a suitable point.

BUT remember not to watch any films when you drive!!!!!!

ok just got it out the box and im presented with this

what do i do with the green and pink cables on the right hand side marked (reverse and parking sw)

pink leave,its for a reversing camera,green just needs scotch locking to the black earth

The reverse is for when you engage reverse gear it activates the camera (if you have one)

And the parking is for the hand brake, this is so the video will only work when the hand brake is applied, therefore you can't watch it when driving. Or you could just earth it so your passengers can watch the video. (like said above)

There are tabs to fold back, use these and make sure its held tightly.

nope,the 710 and 725 do tho,tiny glasses screws that you lose in 5 seconds!,make sure you take the two screws out the top of the unit

ah right sweet, what do i do with the 2" long pole with a screw on the end and the black rubber bit?

chuck it in the bin,it aint needed whatsoever unless you plan to mount it in the air

its free fitting on that unit anyway so they could do it for you if you trust them,most part timers dont give a s**t and usually the audio specialist is the only one who has reputable knowledge

when i fitted mine you didnt have to do any of that fitted it straight away and played dvds....... i thought it was just a legal requirment that you fitted this cale to the handbrake....if you dont it still works...well mine does anyways

ok got it all set up ^_^ but does anyone know how to turn the EQ on and the LOUD option? (i have no instruction manual)

yeah on the front where you turn the volume up just click the button in instead of twisting it and options come up keep clicking until it gets loud and it shouldnt turn off after a while my screen stays up had it up for 3 hours (no rude comments thanks lol)

ok i have just tryed a dvd and the screen is black you can hear the audio but no picture just a msg saying do not watch a dvd and drive...

i did scotch locked the green to the black like you was said what else do i need to do?

you mustnt have gone through the wire or it would work.take your scotch lock apart and see if its cut through the wire
