RN oe Speakers

Im sure sum 1 must know what size the original rear speakers are on my 1.2 h-reg RN clio. i have done a search and cant find anything. i would just like sum slightly better 4 my car cos mine are kinda crackly and crappy! thanx marc

rear are same as the dash - 4"

Yea, under the air vents. Remove the screws to that and pull it out - should be behind there.

The thing is..

Standard you should have speakers in the front and not the back - or at least thats all I had..

yea the speakers in the front dash are 4" are they? no chance of fitting 5.25" in there is there or where has evry1 put their comps in them?

can u just get different doorcards and change the cloth over ? to match the rest of the interior? with door speaker housings in them?

do what i did !! cut the door cards and mount your 5.25" s in the door ! there are mountings for components under the door cards all u need to do is cut out the space for em ! Also you need components with grills !!

ive got drilles on my comps but didnt exactly want to put them on show, would prefer to have the standard grille over so im not advertising my speaers to the local thieving sods. U got ne pics of yas mate would be much appreciated

This is what i did...

Cut the holes out and put some cheapish ones in, improves midrange greatly in the front, hardest bit was wiring it through the door with the central locking gettin in the way a bit, but i manged it
