*ROAD ANGEL RANT*

I have had aroad angel2 now for like 5 months and its been fine when cameras are concerned, but no matter how many lazer guns i pass through it doesnt signal me.



So...........

I pulled over took it out and walked up to a copper in his car with a lazer gun and asked him to test it for me. (This Failed) Sohe sugguested that i go back like 100-200m and he tried it again to which there was No joy.



What am i doing wrong or do i need to activate this function on the Unit? i know there is a way that it can be disabled through software, but what exactley do i need to do?

IIRC there is anoption in the RA menu to turn it on and off?

Have u checked this is set to on.


I havnt got one with me in stock at the mo so cant check for you here.


It maybe that you have a faulty unit tho. Check the manual out if not give Road Angel a call.

Yeh the copper was fine with it! was abit cheeky but heh, u dont get if you dont ask! Also ill check that option but im not sure y. Any other comments welcome in this will be much appreciated.

Where have you got the RA2 and where abouts was he pointing the laser? If you were close to him it would have to be pretty accrete to hit then sensor. If he was aiming at your number plate then I would not expect it to pick it up.

Ideally you need to get a optional number plate sensor. Also the golf ball laser detectors from the RA1 work with the RA2 you could add one of these in the middle of the screen.

It would get pretty expensive though and you would have wires everywhere lol

I loked through the menus and re-selected it and i spose i need to wait until i see another lazer gun??

Tbh you spend so much on a unit like this, youd expect it to work yea!



He pointed it all over it and when i was stood a few hundred away he went for the RA sensor.......

I have 2 wires already running from it so any more would be OTT. Possibly a number plate sensor but i personally think the unit is tits up atm?
