what michelins did you melt???

the main 4 are made by

Khumo ecstsa
Toyo 888R
Yokohama A048
Dunlop SP something

Proper track day tyres even road legal ones arn't that suited to normal road use. I was speaking to someone who had some track day spec rubber on there car and they said it was almost dangerous, when they realy got upto temp they were superb under normal road use though they wouldn't ever get near that operating temperature.
Try the Eagle F1's are alot of people think there superb.
If you want to get some tyres for track days get a spare set of wheels and get some remold slick on it they are better than any semi way rubber but forget driving in the wet or on the roads.

Thanks for the advice.

I only use the car for track days so I just need something that is legal enough to get me there, but not disintegrate.

I also have some 15"s with slicks on. So I need soem thing to get me to the track and then use if it's peeing down.

Do you know of a good stockist of this sort of tyres you recomend Fred?

Thanks again.
