Haha they are proven to last from people who have owned them on the mkiv forums I have done a lot of research as I was a bit skeptical..

There are people in the states who run them quite high boost too..this will be a low boost build until I upgrade the gearbox in which case I will change the turbo too.. I do have a spare engine as well just in case! But as I said my friends has had no issues and I know of two more with a similar set up too..

i'm not sure.. i've been told around 700?? before needing to do internal work.. not that I will be looking for anywhere near this! the gearbox would s**t itself way before then anyway.. I will be looking for 400 before changing the box

Bought myself a snowfoam lance

great fun and does a really good job in fairness! Would recommend them as a prewash!

Had some brackets powder coated chrome + anthricite.. battery tie/rad mounts etc..

And the inlet manifold coated anthracite along with a few other bits that I should have back in the next few days

Stuck on what colour to do the valve covers as they are quite pitted so may have to go black as i think the anthricite may show imperfections.. il get some pictures up of the other brackets etc tomorrow

will be powdercoating the engine mounts too chrome i think.

unfortunately not, but if you own a copy of Grid 2 you can see its digital version there haha

codemasters used it to base the game car on..

he's since got rid of the car not long ago to save for a house.. he put it up for sale expecting it to take a few months and it sold within a couple of days!

real shame.. i've not stopped nagging at him since for getting rid of it...!

was a brilliant spec and one of the cleanest S15s i've ever seen!

think hes now looking at 911's and NSX's now so 'being sensible' didn't last long!!

anyone recognise that clio lol

New rear anti roll bar arrived today.. Think il get it powdercoated before I fit it though probably go yellow to match the calipers, not really going to be able to see it but it certainly won't rust lol!

Sprayed the underneath of the wheel well Matt black..

Battery tie and rad mounts.. The rad mounts will make more sense with an Ali rad and the battery will probably be relocated to the boot but I figured why not didn't charge any extra to do them

picked up some new shoes

test fit..

Ha, I welcome it! I don't see anything wrong with Rota.. they are not badged as anything other than Rota.. therefore in my mind not 'fake' or even 'replicas'.. they are TuV/JWL/approved.. strong light and ran by driftworks/various other prolific companies on various high powered track cars & approved for street use.. wheel designs are very incestuous across all manufacturers.. virtually all wheel manufacturers could be accused of copying designs.. thats just the nature of it..

it's going to take a while to get perfect but that's why it's a project!

I was in Tamworth tonight actually had to pick some bits up from Detail UK! Just some more engine bits I had powdercoated

Also my billet fuel rail arrived today allowing me to replace the stock rail.. Run bigger injectors/use aero fittings/aeromotive fpr and replace the stock fuel lines with proper braided lines.. This also means I could go twin feed too..

I'm a member over there as my Dad is currently building a HKS big twin turbo Supra, not sure if you've seen his project thread over in the projects forum over there? It's just finished being sprayed and going to collect it tomorrow to bring it back home.

Yeah that's right mate, Darnley Auto Works on they're on Facebook and put the photos up.
Not sure on the exact cost but as it's Lamborghini paint it isn't cheap.
