Rocker cover

  1.2 16V clio mk2 ph2
Hi all,
I basically have an oil leak around my rocker cover so I need to replace the gasket. I was wondering how I would go about removing the rocker cover? And also which gasket would I need, I have a 1.2 16 valve 2003 model.
thanks Cameron

You will enjoy this job, its ace!

You need to remove the inlet manifold completely along with the fuel rail. Then, you need to unscrew the top covers then replace the seal before refitting in reverse. From memory the seal is a pain in the ass as its moulded and will only fit in one way but takes a bit of stretching to get in the slots right (That's what she said)

Just be sure not to let any objects get in the top end as the cam will be exposed. I'd also recommend replacing the spark plug well seals at the same time. These come included with an FAI head set but Renault charge for them seperately as individual parts.
