rocking

Hi all!

Just a quick thread to ask if anyone knows why my gearstick tends to rock quite a lot when i set off, its getting a little bit stiff when going from first to second as it seems to be getting harder than when i bought it. anyone have any idea why.

Also is it normal for a 1.2 8v engine to be running just over 500rpm idle? it seems to be running a little sluggish, when im driving it seems fine but when setting off it does judder a little.

Anyone want to shed some light on either of these?

mine idles really low as well, idk about the gearstick though

Hmm it may just be that they normally run on a low idle then
