Ive just been chatting to a mate of mine who races a Caterham. I mentioned that Im taking my car to the Midlands Rolling road day tomorrow to which he replied "rather you than me". So I asked him why.
As his Caterham is put on the rollers on a regular basis he knows what to expect, and reckons that my front tyres will be shot afterwards. Is this the case?
Also hes seen numerous cars leap off rollers? Obviously he has to sit on the back of his 250bhp fag paper light car. The tubby 172 shouldnt have this problem Id guess.
Just wanted to have my mind put at rest before I go ahead tomorrow.
Anyone got anything to add about the risks of putting a car on a Rolling Road?
Thanks
Lee (with his 2nd sensible post of the week)
