Friend of mine picked up an MX5 a couple of weeks ago to do up as a summer project / toy for the sunny weather (then he realised we were in England...!).
Picked it up from reading on Easter Friday .. and by Monday most of it was done haha !
Every panel was a different colour .. the wheels were rotten and the windows didn't go down .. and it looked like this:

It's hilarious to be in. The exhaust note is really zingy until it hits about 5k and goes raspy/chavvy, and sounds like the car should zoom off into the distance... but unfortunately being a 1.6, it never really does.. anything.. at all. :sleepy:
It got a full re-spray last week, so last night we took a tripod and headed out to a car park. Here are a couple of the best. The rest are here....
