rr williams

Well, if you want to have a baseline for any mods youre going to do, then yup its worth it, or if you want to just get a power run done, you could always come down to the rolling road day at the end of august :)

Only RR figure you should trust is the wheels figure.

Hopefully someone whos had a standard williams RRd can answer this accurately but it should be around 125bhp

125bhp is what a stock healthy 1.8 should show at the wheels. A williams should be around 130 ish at the wheels.

Also all the williams put out over the book figure, hmm didnt this you knwo seem odd, liek the rolling road in fact is talkign sh*te, but why woudl anyone say that after all a RR is gospel. They can never be faulted I mean of course 1 litre OHV novas have 100bhp at the fly but 30bhp at the wheels, a 70bhp tranny loss is normal asint it.

  TT 225

hehehe - i had mine on the rollers - not at a r/r day but when i picked it up last year and she put out 140bhp at the wheels.

I know this figure is never gonna be spot on, there are so many variables, but it gives me a rough idea

Chris - i think youre great :D

140bhp at the wheels is a very good healthy figures thats abotu 160 at the fly.

The truth is many cars never put out standard power never mind above it.

Rollers may show stock power but thats only because they over read because no one likes to se their engine is underpowered and get shown up by this.

Aww Kelly:oops: shucks lol

assuming the 172s is on before/after the williams and the barometric and ambients are the same then its bacause the williams is putting out more power. Not hard to work out is it.

How many 172s are putting out the stoick figure? Not many.

I have beaten a 172 in my 1.4 19, that sure as hell wasnt putting out 172 horses.
