RS-1 + Cup Splitter + Nikon D50. 56k...no chance.

Finally got my beloved Nikon D50 back today. :approve: It's been too long...since i dropped it after 3 days of ownership.:dead:

It was a good excuse to give the old bus a good clean up and show you the how the Cup splitter i fitted looks. As some of you know, i've not had much luck with splitters. This time though, i got it to fit even better than the last one...well chuffed. Also put my fog light back in, was getting tired of the one-eyed look.

Cleaned with megs bits and pieces by the way.

BIG thanks to Craig for the splitter too! Top lad.

I really love it, apart from the stickers. I think just having the 'ring sticker (without letters) would be discreet, but a nod to all fellow car enthusiasts.

So tell me about cup splitters Chris...

Just how hard are they to fit?
Would a carbon fibre one be to rigid?
You still need a cup or V6 spoiler to complete the look.

a 2mm drill bits for pilot holes, lots of self tappers and someone to hold it to shape while you fix it.

they are pretty flexible. took us half an hour. :approve:

...they are by no means a "nightmare" to fit. lol

Cup spoiler...hmmm. next bonus perhaps. we'll see.


imo a carbon splitter would be harder...although Stoddie has one on his RS-1. Might be worth a PM.
